I understand that it will be very hot in Cambodia.
But today is May 22nd, and it snowed all day. Not to mention, we both have already lived in Duluth, MN. It seemed to be really cold there during most of the winter time. Actually, Will's sister and our brother-in-law moved there from MT last summer. I spoke to my brother-in-law at one point in the dead of winter and he said "You guys never told us how cold it is up here. Like, you never told us about the constant arctic blast that blows straight into Duluth."
Yea, we already lived in Duluth. I used to complain about it snowing sideways in April up there. But now its snowing here in Montana. It is May... and it snowed today. Supposed to maybe snow all weekend.
I'm sure one day during service, I will look back at this post and sigh.
To think that Mongolia was one of our potential assignments. (No offense to the Mongolia volunteers, actually a big nod to all of you in Mongolia. We were watching the weather report for your country, it seems much colder there.)
We're excited about Cambodia. I mean,... we've already lived in Duluth and the rocky mountains of Montana.
…to a warmer place…
