Chores.
So we spent about an hour and a half doing laundry (bow cow ow) this morning. Ooof that’s hard on your back. Oh well, it is done and hopefully the clothes will have plenty of time to dry before the rain sets in. I wonder how much energy we saved doing all that laundry by hand. Something to think about I guess.
I needed to take a break, so I’m just chillin in our room and thought I’d write a little bit. Next on the list is to bathe (gnoot tuk) and after that we’re going to go to the p’saa (market). I want to buy 2 new glasses because I accidentally broke one of theirs last night (oops!). And also we need to buy some bleach, hangers and I want to get some skirts sewn. The temperatures have been a little cooler. Or perhaps we’re adjusting? I hope so! I have no idea what to expect in the hot dry season. That will be very interesting. Our host parents went off to a festival. Sopeap was dressed in the traditional Khmer skirt and a beautiful top. We tried to figure out what the festival was for, but when I asked Daro, he kept telling me the words for festival in Khmer. Oh well. Not important. Well I’d better get going if I want to have enough time to get a new skirt sewn, along with some sarongs!
All for now… over and out.
